The students make the cards through their participation in the Earn and Learn program. Earn and Learn is a program through which children from low income and often vulnerable communities can gain an outlet for their creativity in a safe and loving environment while also earning an income with dignity.
Strengthening their education and nurturing their values is at the core of Earn and Learn, so whilst the children make greeting cards and other arts and crafts items, they must attend formal school and also receive additional tuition. With the care and love of mentors, they are given the chance to enjoy their childhood.
